The Med Site is aligned with Cottbus as a growing healthcare and science location.
With the Medical University of Lusatia – Carl Thiem (MUL-CT) and the region’s structural transformation, demand for outpatient medical infrastructure is rising in measurable terms.
At the local level, the project—at a scale of approx. 5,900 m² GFA - has already been received positively.
The planning reduces development risk on two fronts: legally, through an already issued building permit for plot 1; energetically, through a documented Min-Energie concept (geothermal, photovoltaics, high insulation standards).
That makes the Med Site resilient to rising energy prices and to future sustainability regulation.
